Field Directions Listed below are directions to all BWFP fields with the starting point at the Liberty Tunnels heading out of downtown Pittsburgh. Baldwin High School | Colewood | Glen Rosing | Highlands | Leland | McGowan | Municipal | Romanus | Union Baldwin High School 4653 Clairton Boulevard Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4.5 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Go through this intersection, staying on Route 51 and get in to the left lane. The school will appear on your left. Look for the Baldwin High School Electronic Billboard. Make a left onto the school driveway. Turn left at the fork and then make the first right. At the stop sign, turn right into the parking lot. There are two fields. top of page Colewood 5500 Overland Trail Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Make a right onto Brownsville Road. As you approach the next light, stay in the left lane and then make a left, staying on Brownsville Road. At the next light, stay in the right lane and proceed straight along Brownsville Road past Option Supply. As you pass a small shopping plaza on your left, look for an abandoned gas station on the right. Make the second right past the old gas station onto Overland Trail. Go all the way to the bottom of the hill and the fields will be on your left. Colewood 1 is closest to the parking lot. For Colewood 2, You can continue through the parking lot and park between the two fields. top of page Glen Rosing Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 2.5 miles) to Maytide. Turn left onto Maytide. Go to the top of the hill and then turn right onto Brownsville Road. At the next light, turn left onto Sankey. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Churchview. Turn at first right Spencer Ave. Follow Spencer Ave. Until end and make right onto Custer Ave. Turn at first left Joseph St. Glen Rosing is one block down on your right. Alternate directions: Brownsville Rd. to Becks run road. Turn right at waterworks (Agnew road). Field is appox. Three blocks up at "y" on Agnew road and Joseph Street. Field will be directly in front of you. top of page Highlands Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) to Stilley (the next left past Brownsville Road). Turn left onto Prospect. Turn right onto Colter Drive. Proceed past first cross street (Varner) until you reach Girard. Turn left onto Girard and proceed to the end of the street where you will see the Tillotson School. Park in the lower parking lot and you will see the field. top of page Leland and McGowan Fields Knoedler Road and Wolfe Drive Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 5 miles). You will pass Baldwin High School on your left. Continue on 51, and once you proceed straight through the light at the intersection of Streets Run Road (Eatn' Park on the right), you will come to a series of traffic lights. At the second light (just before the Exxon station), turn right onto Grace. Proceed up the hill (train underpass at top of hill). Blue signs will lead you to Leland Field Complex. Roads taken to field will be Grace, right onto Macassar, left onto Holdsworth, right onto Wolfe. Fields will be on your left on Wolfe. Looking at the fields from the parking lot, Leland is on the left (furthest from the community building) and McGowan is on the right. top of page Municipal and Romanus 3344 Churchview Avenue Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 2.5 miles) to Maytide. Turn left onto Maytide. Go to the top of the hill and then turn right onto Brownsville Road. At the next light, turn left onto Sankey. At the top of the hill, turn right onto Churchview. Follow Churchview to just past Baldwin Municipal Building (3344 Churchview Ave.). Turn right onto Romanus Dr. Municipal is the big field on the right and Romanus is on the left beyond a smaller field. top of page Union 4701 Baptist Road Stay in right lane as you pass through the Liberty Tubes. Go straight through the light at the end of the tubes. Following the signs for Route 51 south, bear to your right and following the clover leaf. Follow Route 51 South (approximately 4 miles) to the intersection of Brownsville Road and Route 51. There's a Gulf Station and PNC on the left, and a GBU Insurance Company on the Right. Make a right onto Brownsville Road. As you approach the next light, stay in the right lane and then go straight through the light. You then will be on Baptist Road. As you head down the hill, Union Field will be on your left behind the Manor Building. Turn left into the parking lot just past the building near brown sign for field.
